Profile portrait of Brian Reiner
About me

Practical experience. A people-first approach.

I bring together hands-on IT operations, problem-solving, and education to make technology more reliable, secure, and useful.

My work spans systems administration, end-user support, networking, device management, identity and access, cybersecurity practices, and technology planning. I enjoy looking beyond an individual technical issue to understand the process behind it and find ways to make the whole environment work better.

Alongside my IT work, I teach in higher education, helping students build foundational knowledge in information technology, networking, human-computer interaction, and user experience. Teaching has strengthened my ability to explain complex topics, document solutions, and connect technology decisions to people's needs.

I am especially interested in opportunities where I can improve technology services, strengthen infrastructure and security, and help organizations use technology effectively.
